Plane Crash in Iran Claims 72 Dead

Fars news agency reported that there are 72 dead passengers and 33 injured in the plane crash that hit the snow in Iran.

However this news was not the same with what the IRNA confirmed and Mehr news reported.  They only claimed that there are 70 persons that have died over the crash.

The Boeing 747 crashed in the northwestern city or Orumiyeh 7:45 am (1615 GMT time), the plane actually have delayed its flight due to bad weather, however, one hour after it continues its flight.

Official said that there is no other causes right now except for the bad weather condition. 

The plane was broken into 3 pieces, although it did incur fire still it claimed lives.

This is not the first plane to crash due to bad weather conditions in the area. There have been other crashes in 2005, 2006 and in the 2009.

There are survivors in the crash, which have been brought to different hospital by people who have helped rescued them.  Official said that the injured victims are being transferred to a general hospital in Orumiyeh for better health care.
