Political Philosophy

This is a revealing of my own political philosophy. Please leave me comments on your aprovals and disaprovals so that I may adjust my ideas and beliefs accordingly.

Political Philosophy:

I have a fairly straight forward political philosophy. I have both liberal and conservative ideas, so I would consider myself as a libertarian. I would want to make an indirect democracy if I were given the privilege to make this country the best that it could be. I believe that each individual should have for more rights than are currently available to the public. If I want to build a fire to keep warm during the long winter nights, I should have the right to cut down a tree in my yard for firewood without having to obtain a special permit. People should have the ability to add a new addition to their homes without struggling for years to get a permit to do so. Currently, after all their struggling for a permit, they have to get a bunch of inspections and deal with all that mess for possibly even longer. I feel that if something is yours, then you should be able to do whatever you want with it unless it infringes upon others rights. The government shouldn’t be able to control the people, the government should be there to aid and help the people in their times of need.

Member Profile:

I believe that the people who want a small not as controlling government and want to experience realistic freedom will have the highest chance of voting for me. These people all have about the same ideology on life as I have.

Economic Agenda:

I feel that taxes don’t need to be as high as they are at the current time. Taxes should be lowered to a reasonable amount (but not too low). With less taxes being collected, the government can’t be as controlling and all powerful as they are at the present. However, there should still be enough taxes that the government can stop right infringement, and people trying to con others out of their possessions, while all the while providing protection to the people of the country.

Foreign Policy Agenda:

The United States, being the world’s only current superpower, needs to help the other countries that are having a hard time adapting to the times. The US should set a good example for everyone else. Therefore, the United States needs to support the United Nations and encourage other countries toward the same path.
