Postal Strikes

Why do they deserve better terms of work than everybody else?

Can somebody explain to me why the Royal Mail staff feels so secure in their jobs in a time when the whole economy is in turmoil? Why do they feel that while everybody’s pay is going down and hours are going up, they deserve the backing of the nation on their silly demands.

Nobody likes their employers, but not everybody has a union to allow them to strike and bring their company to their needs. We already pay more for posting goods and now the service is appalling.

I don’t really have much else to say than, if you don’t like the work, leave your job and see if you can both find and like another job. Grow up and deal with it. Striking is a terrible solution and you are single handedly responsible for this mess.
