Pregnancy and Childbirth: What If Women Had The Power to Impregnate Their Men?

Sex and marriage have been used for a long time to subjugate women and make them second class citizens in many societies. This article looks at the possibility of reversing the roles of women and those men and making our patriarchal societies matriarchal for once. What if the woman had the power to………….

Sex, pregnancy and child birth have been used for ages by men to subjugate women and gain control over many social, political and economic institutions. Men became wild when they noticed their ability to impregnate women and make them carry their offspring for nine straight months.

Men also noticed that women became easier to control while in this state of motherhood and therefore began using sex and marriage to their advantage even though women still maintained the key to the success of these unions.

Think about the possibility of women impregnating their men and calling the shots in many relationships. Think of the woman marrying the man, taking him away from his parents and in some cultures paying the dowry so as to own literally own the man, think of the possibility of the woman deciding on the number of children and only showing up to impregnate and disappear on the premise of being busy with work.

Think of men having to deal with the throes of morning sickness, the uncertainties of pregnancy, the unexplained cravings for macabre stuff like red soil or clay, and the reduced immunity that comes pregnancy. What if, what if the tables were turned and men had to deal with the fear of being raped by unknown assailants on every street that they walk through?

Men have for a long time ignored the perils of motherhood; they have for a long time ignored the pain and hardship that women go through in order to bring forth their offspring. Perhaps realization that the tables could be turned in future can right the situation.

Yes would be rather strange, but things that seemed strange 40 years ago are now the norm.. so why not?

Interesting article. The roles of man and woman are changing nowadays. Women work late outside, earning more money; men stay home taking care of the children. If the technology keeps on advancing, maybe one day we will have men get pregnant and give birth.

There are women out there who, without this manly attributes, still dominate and make their men dance practically to their tunes
