Prejudice Against Outcasts

A beautifully written article making an attempt to solve and tackle bias through the comparism and observation of two contemorary short stories.

Racism is caused when a certain group of people think of themselves as distinctively superior, for example when white people thought themselves as superior to other ‘colored’ races. Racism also transcends all cultures, it is just in the nature of man, as the excerpts that have been presented portray clearly racism exists everywhere, and it is always against outcasts of a certain culture. To overcome racism however, people need to understand that what unites people is not how they look, but their personality and how they act. Therefore one would ask the persons of the world for peace, all there is to ask is not to be blind but to see another person from the inside.
