President Chavez, Crazy Patriot or Obscure Leader?

One of the most well-known and renowned public figures in America and the world by his exaggerated words, his actions out of control and his evident interest in taking social, political and economical control of Latin America.

Hugo Chávez Frías apparently is an ordinary humble class man, idealistic and human, a follower of the Bolivarian principles and socialist ideas, mature man law-abiding, fighter and consummate military. He’s had a low level of education but has a high power of conviction and dominion over people about to turning them into his subjects, as well as he’s done with direct collaborators and leaders of other countries.

Some people praise him, other people are his servants, many fear him, several are grateful to him and a large amount of ignorant believe him. All of them were taken in by his “devilish charm” and the great economic force he owns thanks to the resources of Venezuelans.

In his nation Venezuela, we can see an example of the unsteadiness and the lack of security his actions cause. Governed by a “great patriot” since 1999, Venezuelans have undergone a severe process of polarization and a social and moral instability, caused by the repression established by the Chavez government. There he orders and his subjects must obey, he authorizes what operates and what not, he divides the loot of his obscure actions, he silences to those who claim for their rights, he accuses and judges. Those who aren’t at his service are considered his enemies.

The apparent democracy he uses as the flag of his leadership is the same imperialist figure he criticizes and attacks, with the big difference that his political plan has only one direction: “Absolute power”: repressive power, evil power, annulative power, power that paralyzes power that discriminates. His plans only consider the possibility of dominating a large part of the world under the precepts of socialist ideas, of equality and absolute control of society by the state, his state, “HIS EMPIRE”.

His main method to catch followers and to captivate people is based on the meeting of basic needs of those who are the most desperately needed. Unfortunately, although many people don’t understand it, his plan consists in providing handouts from the state for temporary solutions, that only serve as a palliative to those who backs his social and political structure up, but aren’t helpful to the development and progress of the country (the country needs education, productive training, resources, entrepreneurship creation and freedom).

Supposedly, Chavez has done good things for the world and for his country. So what’s truth of that?
