Preventing Terrorism
To protect people from the cruel activities of terrorists, urgent steps need to be taken.
How terrorism was originated? Hatred feelings towards humanity is the major cause of terrorism? What benefits these unscrupulous people are going to gain by destroying life and property. Can we find out the route cause of terrorism? No body is aware when and where attack will take place. This is the most deplorable fact, which needs introspection.
American President George Bush inititated the war of the 21st century against terrorism. However, it could the desired results for a few years. Unfortunately, these efforts became feeble and unscrupulous elements took undue advantage of the inaction.
There’s urgent need for preventing terrorism by all means and at any cost. We need to create a global war against terrorism with the cooperation of entire world to save humanity from the attack of terrorism.
We need to establish a permanent group of people to watch the activities of terrorisms.
Obviously, a unique method is required to protect our nation against devastating acts of terrorism. Scientific advances have made it possible for small countries or even small groups of individuals to threaten the security of entire nations. Today, anyone can get knowledge from easily accessible web sites how to create cruel bombs. Biological and chemical weapons are easily accessible and can be transported easily across national borders.
The new challenge has become: how to protect our country against terrorist organizations that have no compunction about killing or fear of dying for their causes.
So, action needs to be initiated at right time at right place with right technology. This task can not be achieved by a nation or two. There’s a need for sincere cooperation of all developed and developing nations. With the combined effort, terrorism can be prevented progressively by identifying clearly the root cause.

This was an interesting and informative article. It will take people like you and me to raise awareness, provide a deeper understanding and to stand and be counted in the ongoing fight against terrorism. I have written a tribute to those who died and those who survived the July 7th London bombings 4 years ago. I was working in an outer London hospital on the day. My piece is ‘Terrorism Failed.’
I sincerely believe that if ordinary people work together then change will come. I hear people say “but what can I as one person do?” I answer “One person is like a drop of water in the ocean of life and if all the drops join together then they will form a river. Then that river will run to form a sea. United individuals that dare to make a stand, can and will change the world.
