Priests Should be Issued Opsex Marriage Permits for Winter Season

Priests in the U.S.A. and Ireland should be issued opsex marriage permits in time for the spring season.

Many modern Americans may not realize that there were good reasons historically to restrict Catholic priests at least to celibate, single lives. Corruption was the primary alternative before the tightening up of rules. With the homosexual false priests of some protestant churches, such depravity as once beset the Catholic Church may now become a larger problem for Protestant ‘churches’.

Salvation is the purpose of having a relationship with Jesus Christ. All of the saved are also the elect and all are chosen to be priests equally within an egalitarian community of Christians-who rightly ought to work for a living at real jobs and share weekend worship duties. Tithing was Biblically supposed to be two years of ten percent of one’s produce being consumed before God in a gathering of Christian in celebration, and the third year’s produce was to go to the widows, orphans, hungry and the non-material producing Levitical priesthood. They would thus have got about 1% of the working Jews prophets annually. Plainly regular two-class Christian churches have tended to become 10 % annually tithe paying sinecures for commercial Christians in error regarding Biblical teaching, however that is not as large of a problem as were Catholic monasteries and even individual priests who were married or at least had rent-wives hanging around.

Many monasteries of history were virtually bawdy houses. The successor to St. Francis was one such bacchanalian. Some priests and clerical orders became great land holders and the theocratic center of feudal society, while others just collected mandatory tithe-rents, and some were contented with whoring and boozing. Even the married priests with a good family house might have seemed to the poor and homeless to be more interested in enriching themselves rather than being devoted servants to their neighbor Christians and spiritual leaders.

A final issue might arise regarding married priests; the Bible has Jesus saying that those that the elect never marry-so would the priests be second rate Christians therefore? Paul of course modifies the celibacy and single order a little, and says to marry if you must, and that marriage would prevent those of lesser character from becoming even worse sinners in sexual affairs I would guess. If priests could marry would they all feel pressure to marry, or would Catholic family Churches be about building large parsonages for the priest and his wife and kids? Maybe the poor could get a glimpse of the good life of the priest and family as they head to the gold course with the CEO’s to wheedle a little something more for the peons?

Some priests couldn’t get dates. Other priests would get messy divorces. Perhaps Oprah or Dr. Phil would need to council them on TV. Maybe even Dr. Laura could handle priestly family crisis as they presented-oh vey!
