Abortion isn’t nor can it be defined as “freedom of speech”. Voicing an opinion is, but the physical removal of a baby, or fetus as most feel more comfortable calling it when they want to end it’s life, is the physical act that ensues the verbal instruction (speech).

Why is it that one can’t think about insufficient funds and life style BEFORE they get pregnant? Getting pregnant is avoidable.

Now, I am pro choice, but has it’s limitations. I don’t believe a woman whose been raped should have to give birth to her rapists child. I don’t believe children should have children, nor should they be having sex. I believe, for example, a 16 year old who gets pregnant should be able to have an abortion, ONCE. I believe that a 16 year old who gets pregnant for the first time does so due to lack of knowledge, inexperience and likely doesn’t have the tools she needs to prevent it. After getting pregnant and deciding on an abortion, she is responsible to ensure that doesn’t happen again, for her own sanity and for the sake of not using abortion as birth control, like many have/do.

Obviously when giving birth would put the mothers life in danger, she should have the option to abort it.

Drug addicts or alcoholics would be two groups of people I’d encourage to seek other options, rather than bring a child into this world who’d likely be born with many complications, if they even survived, with no parent to really care.

I don’t think pro-choice or pro-life people should be lumped into two categories with specific ” you must believe” ways of thinking.
