Discussion

Almost all Third world countries facing the same problems.  Most of Latin American, African and Asian Countries are part of Third World Countries. The chief harms of Third World countries are as follows.

Problems of Third World Countries

Poverty

Poorness has many different shadows. It is a particular situation from which many people want to escape. This problem is the primary problem of all the Third world countries. These are very low standard countries as far as their living standard is concern.  Many people are living underneath the poverty level.   people in Third world countries are deprived from basic needs.

Health

The health state of these countries is most horrible.  Even people don’t have basic health amenities under their reach or either these facilities upon the overseas aid. In case of any disaster, contagion diseases reach all over and their treatment is expensive and costly. In case of any disaster there is no local management system to manage with it and often under such circumstances the locals depend to absence of basic health services, the death toll is frequently high.   Pollution free drinking water and cleanliness facilities are out of reach for majority of the population in the Third world countries. Third world countries are mostly agricultural countries and these countries usually in need of water for production though they face lack of water reserves

Education

The most deserted area of these countries is education. They have limited resources so Third world countries usually lack behind since they have either lesser funds or these funds are wasted wrongfully. A big part of population is uneducated due to wrong planning. Under such circumstances these countries have failed to excel in Science and Technology

Unemployment

Unemployment is the most threatening problem of Third world countries. The speed of being without a job is very high. Joblessness is a result of low-profile trade. New Industries are not being set up while the existing ones are under enormous pressure of down sizing and globalization.  The velocity of inflation is getting higher and higher day by day forcing the people difficult to make both the ends meet. The rate of imports is comparatively higher than the exports and an enormous amount of foreign exchange is wasted in this aspect. High Unemployment rate has provoked approach towards crimes and people are inclined to wrong means. The crime rate is also higher reasonably from developed countries.

Conclusion

No study of the third world could hope to assess its future prospects without taking into account population growth. In 1980, the earth’s population was estimated at 4.4 billion, 72 percent of it in the third world, and it suppose to reach 6.2 billion, 80 percent of it in the third world, at the close of the century. This population growth explosion in the third world will definitely prevent any significant improvements in living standards there as well as threaten people in stagnant economies with worsening poverty.

Total earth’s population in early 80s was about 4.4 billion. About 73 percent of this is living in Third world countries.
