U.S. decision on whether publication of the photograph with the corpse of Osama bin Laden is still the subject of debate in the White House, although the CIA director had suggested Tuesday that the images will be released soon.
Some advisers to the White House believes that the publication of the photograph is not necessary because “no doubt” that bin Laden is dead, said an administration official quoted by CNN. ”We have DNA evidence, facial recognition (identification) wife and measurements,” commented CNN.
“It is not really the issue that had not been killed (…) So what’s the point of publishing (photos), though everyone knows he’s dead?”, Said the quoted official.
The final decision will belong to them but some senior security officials, including Defense and Secretary Robert Gates and Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton.

“My instinct tells me that probably is not necessary to publish those pictures, but, you know, I will respect any decision the president,” Lieberman said.
