Pull Up Your Pants

My opinion concerning Baggy Pants and what the young men of America should do.

I will never understand how the young guys out there can continually wear baggy pants. I thought back in the 90’s when they came out with this new trend that it would only be around for a few years. Now 2008 and they are still wearing them; why? I have never seen one guy who looked good in a pair of baggy pants. Do they actually think the females like them? For the most part we don’t!

If they only knew that baggy pants came from prison life and how the prisoners would lose weight from not eating properly which would make their pants hang. Also, that the gay men wore them to show that they would drop their pants for anyone; then maybe a lot of guys would stop wearing them. Are they wearing them because they think they look cool? They don’t!

First of all how on earth can they be comfortable? It actually makes you walk totally different then if you had regular jeans on. They have to continuously pull them up, and if you have to run you look even worse. Have you seen them when they are running? They have to spread their legs out in order to hold them up, especially if they are carrying something, it’s the funniest thing!

President-Elect Barack Obama was asked about the baggy pants and if he would change the law.

He stated “that it was a waste of time trying to pass laws concerning this subject when we have other problems bigger then baggy pants.”However, he did say “pull your pants up.” He proceeded to say “it is disrespectful to be walking around showing your underwear in front of your mom, grandmother” also he said “he does not want to see your underwear” and guess what neither do I.

Since we now have a new President as of January 20, 2009, why don’t you guys out of respect for the new President and the start of the “CHANGE” for our Country begin a new trend and buy pants that fit you properly or buy a belt that will at least hold those gigantic pants on your waist line.

We are so tired of seeing the “plumber’s crack” or his underwear.

Totally agree! It is the most disgusting style, ever. That is, if you want to call it style.
