Rallies for Economic Recovery

There are rallies occurring in major US cities in an effort to get government from steering in a direction which is away from the representation of the people by the people. These people feel short changed and their life savings have gone sown the drain as large corporations have enjoyed government incentives and tax breaks.

People have been rallying in major US cities to bring attention to the weakened US economy. Some will be motivated regarding economic recovery others are motivated to see a better life for their grandchildren yet others  much younger want to have a fair chance at higher education and the economy is squeezing them out.The finger has been pointed to Wall Street, the location from whence unsuccessful bailouts occurred, to big businesses albeit. What is happening to society is already a confirmation to what has been written about in the past, ignored by the powerful elite and  has been warned against: an intolerable thinning out of the middle class with an economic pyramid that favors only the very few on the top,  and the widening of a poor class as low cost industry has been unfairly stimulated. This is not a treatise on a society going socialist, it is however testimony to an ill which will not be corrected through police harassment as  a mix of various elements of society agree that some fairness has to be wrought out of the current economic system so that their is a greater fairness within society that social equality is addressed once and for all.

Homes have lost their value, citizens have been unable to pay for their mortages as in the past and in the meantime a small percentage of the faceless corporate rich have been able to acquire wealth as never before. This may have been a stimulus to the city occupations too besides the reoccurance of another recession that has not permitted the average citizen to forget about the headache of the previous one. Fine there are people out there that may not even diserve to show theior angst, those eho feel terribly entitled to what their baby boomer parents could not afford but this is not all youth. Even a sensible young adult when witnessing the anxiety of what his parents are going through will understand that the economy today is not what they want to inherit. Since the middle class is disappearing and job creation is happening but not at the rate the US wants in order to maintain a recovery, people are anxious about their future. Who would think that there would be a double dipping and that another recession would be around the corner?

Personally I think that the situation will get worse before it getting better. A person like Pelosi cannot just shrug things off to say that this is what democracy is even though she meant well. Her statement referred to the reality of demonstrations that should occur in democracies. She was addressing those who are concerned that demostrations should not be allowed and that is the beginning of tolitarianism. America is not far from this if politicians want to forcefully quiet the masses for fear of losing their power holds. There has to be some real concession. It is foolish to place militias in the streets to fight peaceful demonstrators that will definitely show that the government is definitely taking the route of repressive action that is not the US in character. How will the US or Canada continue to place itself as a place of peaceful co-existence if there is an internal intolerance for social change to correct pressing inequalities? This will be a fable and as it is foreigners are duped into coming to progressive Canada, then ransomed for money and forced to do the telemarketing that graduates without jobs are doing, just to keep industry afloat? Is it only about the interests of economic turnover then? Well that is an ill that has to be addressed and those factions of society and others will stand united to see that such industries, do not become the only choice for employment.

The economy is quite sad. I pray for change because if this continues this way we could see an all out war in the United States against one another. I’m having a tough time in this mess!

Great writing. I believe we need reform, I just do not like the way they are doing it.

It’s because the USA presidents are usually morons. Having a bankrupt country and still waging war on other countries and spending idiotic amounts of money on the army.

Count in the losses of human lives, humans who could have worked instead, who could have went to college, who could have become the backbone of a country. Count that up and well that’s the ‘father’ of all countries.

    Thanks USA.
