Reach Balance in Your Life

With all the things we have to do daily an with all the responsibilities we have to take care of it is very easy to crack under all the pressure. This article focuses on achieving balance in your life in order that you may put things in there proper place.

When was the last time you took a ride in a car, bus or on a bicycle that had a huge bulge in the tire?  No doubt you realized that the ride was quite bumpy and possibly dangerous.   Unless the tire is repaired or fixed it will eventually go flat.  Likewise in life, if we allow the bulges to continue to grow we will find that our journey in life will prove to be bumpy and even dangerous.  Therefore, we must strive to achieve balance in order to make the road of life smooth.

Balance is defined as “a state in which no one part, element, factor, or influence overweights another or is out of due proportion to the other.”

What’s More Important In Your Life

Are you so busy in your life that you forget what’s really important?  Are you so busy trying to make money and get over that you fail to fulfill your responsibilities at home, as a father, mother, husband or wife?  Are you striving so hard to accumulate material things at the expense of your family?  Are you taking on more work trying to impress your boss at work who could replace you before you reach home and to take off your shoes?  It is quite possible that you may achieve financial security by working really hard, but what good is it if you lose your family?  What good is it if you lose your values?  What good is it if you have no one to share it with?

Balance says’ that no influence overweights another and that everything is in proportion.  However, if you have achieved financial security at the expense of family relationships and friends then your ride in life will continue to be bumpy.  It will not be smooth!

     Accomplishments Can Bring Happiness

You can only find true happiness if you are successful at handling life’s responsibilities.  Meeting your responsibilities in a reasonable and efficient manner.  Getting things done in an orderly and timely way, only then will you find a sense of accomplishment, a sense of balance.  A balance person plans ahead, and does not procrastinate, they are modest and have self control in all things.
