Do you agree with slavery? Slavery mean one man without any kind of freedom that would have to work in heavy jobs such as carrying stones or in dangerous works such as gold mines. There were no machines, all the work was manual. For women that would be serving in a house and doing all kinds of domestic work, including sleeping with her master at night.

The Portuguese book was called Life In The Medieval Age and the horrible things men did to each other. In torture rooms to get information or just to have fun with war prisoners they would cut their eyes, their tongues, make them wounds just to get infected and having them dying of fever and starvation. There was not much mental torture at the time because the mind was just to make the body work.

Even while not under torture men had to endure the most horrible life dangers you can imagine. Diseases, hunger, lack of house conditions to live in, no water, no heating, no electricity. If you complain about what life is today you should read more about History and see how life used to be a few centuries ago. Nothing could be worse. Let’s just wonder where God was at that time where about 5% of children dyed right after born and 10% in the first year of life and about 25% before turning 10. Being alive, reaching the 40’s was a bless or shall we call luck.
