Renewable Energy: Wind Power

Why people are for wind power.

The availability of the desperately needed power is closer than you think. How is it closer? It is closer because it blows in our face. Wind energy is the cheapest way to make power. It is cheap because of five reasons. They are that it’s cheap, very easy to obtain, it can be tourist attractions, it’s a good method for providing power to remote areas, and it is a very clean resource. With all these advantages obviously come disadvantages, but either way wind power I believe is the future, and if I wasn’t right than why are other people putting it into average life.

To start off wind power is very obtainable and cheap. I’ll give you an example where the organization of PBS said that it was very cheap because wind farms don’t use up any fuel. Wind power is only cheap after it’s started. Starting it is in a way expensive, but like Texas, they started out pretty heavy on pricing and after they started wind power now provide almost the amount of power oil produces. Wind farms are not expensive. Sure they require vast land but under the mills could be farms. Either way assembly of the wind mills is very easy because the wind mills are made in Denmark. So the number one reason it’s the cheapest form of energy, it’s because the pricing of power usage by regular people will decrease.

Now, it’s easy to obtain this power source, because it can be found anywhere, just like wind can be found anywhere. This resource is found anywhere on the coast of any ocean or sea. Coastal areas are very windy during the right season. Now, in places like Texas, or any vast rolling plains, it tends to be very windy. With all this wind imagine how much power we could be producing. My point is that we have all this wind at our disposal until the end of the world and I think that now is the time to start using it. Another plus to it is that, wind is a planetary resource, it is found all over the world.

So, why just have the US benefit from it when we could have the whole world act as an active community, to harness power for everyday life. Now the availability of wind is at our disposal but to start it as I have mentioned before is very expensive. But let me remind you what’s after the money shortage; a huge increase in power usage and output, and best of all money income.

Wind mills don’t have to be just expensive but they can be used as a gain in money. Believe it or not the wind mills can be a tourist attraction. The massive wind mills year by year keep growing bigger. Obviously not literally, but with each windmill farm that is being built the windmills keep getting bigger. With such massive structures people might actually want to see them. With people wanting to see them we might get tourist attraction. With this incoming attraction and money, the money might actually go to building more windmills.
Usually windy areas tend to be very remote areas.

Remote areas tend to be the windiest. With these wind mills in the remote areas, collecting this wind, the wind mills can create remote jobs for the remote people. Speaking of jobs, windmills also create more jobs. The jobs needed to run these farms are very elaborate. With such jobs, they open a lot of opportunities to other people. A created job goes back to what I said before of incoming money. The jobs that people would be involved in, would eventually turn the wind mill business into an industry. With such a growth in power for the world PBS yet again thinks it’s a very potential aspect of the future.

It all comes down to this last fact, and it is that wind power is a very clean way to obtain energy. No pollutants are let go of in the air so there is no pollution involved. We are not killing any of the environments by installing such windmills and we are certainly not hurting anyone by obtaining this electrical energy. Since it is a renewable source it is obviously included as clean and here forever. This clean safe way of using the environment for our needs in a healthy matter is going to be here forever, that’s what’s so great about it.

To keep on going, wind mill installation is so safe that it can be installed in any environment. The wind mills can be installed off shore, in high land, or lowland, in mountainous terrain, plains, or any type of land that is stable. Another reason it is a clean and safe environment resource is because wind mills, are here to last, they do not tire out and most certainly do not end up in the local dump. Keep in mind that windmills are not active all the time so that in a way reduces bird collisions or other types of incidents where something could be caught in the blades of the windmill.

To wrap it all up, windmills are the way of the future in the sense that windmills are a very healthy way to obtain the power we need and not hog it all from the environment. Windmills, give opportunities for many people to work, whether it be maintenance, statistical jobs that do indeed pay a lot of money. Speaking of money windmills can serve as attractions for tourists. The money rolling in, either it be jobs or tourist income, can serve as to working for more windmills. With more windmills the increase in power for the world can greatly increase.

The accessibility of this resource is literally in our hands. We feel the wind in our face everyday, so why can’t that one gust of wind serve as a watt towards warming our homes. Power for consumers, with this increase in power, becomes cheaper so you would be paying less for lighting up your home. The clean ethic of such power can greatly help the environment. We will end up with twice as much power twice as clean as before, according to a research in Texas of renewable energy.

Look around and you will see that people are starting to see that windmills are a great way of power and that they are some how are being put to work. What some people still don’t see is that they haven’t noticed that if windmill use is increased it can fix even more problems than it is fixing right now at a minimal use. The cleanliness, availability, work increase, money saver and increase, all describe the windmill so why not put into play in the average life now before it’s too late.
