Revolution

What is a Revolution?

A revolution is an overthrow or repudiation and the thorough replacement of an established government or political system by the people governed (Webster’s Encyclopedic Unabridged Dictionary).

And overthrowing of a government, or the ruling party by the people ruled.

Am I saying revolt against our country?  No we should always honor and respect our country.

But that doesn’t mean we have to live like the country does.

America has let freedom come out so much.  It basically has legalized Pornography, Gambling, Murder.  All of these are horrible crimes yet people get away with it.  The world let’s believe that “Hey you aren’t cool if you don’t have sex before you graduate High School.”  ”There’s no problem just looking, it’s not hurting the person who is in the picture.”  ”Don’t worry you can just have an abortion.”  ”Come on, just a little bet.  It’s not like your going to lose your life’s savings.”

Even Freedom of Speech makes people believe that they can just say what they want.  It let’s them curse whenever they want, disrespect others and their superiors.

Then there’s Freedom of Petition.  Why do you think that gay marriage has been gaining ground?  Same goes for abortion.

Then there’s Freedoms of Religion, Assembly.  Yeah, they let us practice Christianity, which is the Truth.  However, they also give freedom to other religions to practice theirs.  But shouldn’t we know that by no law made by man are we told that we are free to practice Christianity.  We should LIVE like Christ, LIVE as a Christian, as a Christ-Follower, because He was the one that set us FREE from our Sins.  So no matter where we are in this world, we can always love and be with Christ for we are free.

So by the Freedoms of this world (or at least America) should we live?  No

We shouldn’t go around cursing at one another.  We shouldn’t set our eyes upon such intriguing images.  Christ said “if a man look upon another woman with lust in his eyes, then he has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” We shouldn’t agree with what the world wants, for the world is of the world as flesh is of the flesh. 

Let us live by what the Law says to us.  For even though we are not under the Law, but under grace, we should still live by the Law for the Law was made by God and not by man.

So I believe that US Christians should live against this world, and bring out a Revolution.  Romans 12:2 states that we should not conform to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind so you can prove the good, acceptable and perfect Will of God.  Go forth and Transform this world.
