Russia and the U.S. will continue to cooperate in combating drug trafficking in Afghanistan.
The U.S. and Russia continue to cooperate in combating drug trafficking and terrorism in Afghanistan, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
Lavrov held a bilateral meeting in Hanoi with U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in the fields of the East Asia Summit and ASEAN activities.
“We expressed satisfaction at the conduct of successful joint operations in Afghanistan to combat drug trafficking and noted that this is an example that deserves imitation, and agreed to continue in the same spirit in the fight against drugs and terrorism, as well as in the exchange information to obtain accurate information that effectively prevent these threats, “-” Lavrov said.
