Same-sex Marriage

Same-sex marriage (also called gay marriage) is a legally or socially recognized marriage between two persons of the same biological sex or social gender. Now i find this very annoying and pointless. To prove someones love, does one have to be married to another? I think that it is unnecessary for gay marriage to be legalized, you can still love, be together… basically anything…. without being married. Plus think if gay marriage gets legalized… what else would get legalized, marriage with animals, polygamy… you get the point. We should fight for gay people to not get the death penalty like in some parts of the world instead of wasting our time on marriage
