Samsung Smiley T359 Cell Phone Review

Samsung cell phones have a good reputation. I owned the Katalyst for two years and became its loyal fan. The phone still works, but I thought it would be best for me to go for an upgrade just because everyone is doing it. My eyes went onto the Samsung Smiley T359. It is basically a 3G, has the QWERTY keypad, buttons to use social networks, camera of 1.3 mega pixel and so on. But one thing that is missing is the headset. It is something that is to be bought separately. 

I picked up the cell phone and came home. Once in my room, I sat down to text my boyfriend to give the news of it. Unfortunately, from that time on everything about the phone started going down the drain. The QWERTY keypad has really tiny buttons. So by mistake, I ended up going for the wrong letters and having spelling mistakes. The buttons for navigation are made complicated. A little carelessness actually landed me back to where I started. Yet I managed to get used to them. The problem did not end there. Late at night, I called my boyfriend to talk, but felt extremely frustrated as I heard the extra buzzing noise coming along with his voice. Then another trouble landed. As he was talking I noticed his sound quality dropping. It was more like sometimes going high and sometimes low! Meanwhile, his voice also caused some kind of vibration all over the cell phone. 

In the morning, I called T-Mobile to complain about it. Just as I predicted, as the representative talked his voice seemed to take a ride on the seesaw again and again. In the end, we both came to the conclusion that it was time for me to get an exchange. This is how my time with Samsung smiley came to an end. 

Now should you get this phone? Of course, its answer can be best found from your mind. Also it could be possible that I simply ended up with a defected phone. But remember, it is not for those who have long nails because the buttons are extremely small. Additionally, those who have bad eyesight might find it better to stay away from it. The letters and especially the numbers are just too tiny on the keypad. Another problem that this phone has is its camera. First time, its print comes as yellow. So it is important to adjust the camera light before taking any pictures. I basically could not say anything good about this phone. Yes, the battery life is good, but that seems to be one of the reasons for which all Samsung cell phones are popular.
