Samsung T249 Cell Phone Review

Samsung T249 is one of the cheapest cell phones available today. Find out whether you should just look at its price while buying it!

I have been just having a tough luck with cell phones lately. Last time, I reviewed the Samsung Katalyst and Smiley. Now it is time for us to get to know their brother, T249. This ordinary looking sliding cell phone is made with rather plastic material. It is also possible to assume that the arrival of many smartphones, made its model outdated. But my long nails seem quite compatible with it. That is why, I picked it up.

The features that come with T249 are somewhat average and they include calling, messaging, taking pictures, gaming, listening to music and going online. In a way, it is a cell phone made for those who just like to text message and talk. At least that is its mission.

An important thing to remember is that Samsung T249 is one of the cheapest phones offered by T-Mobile. Unfortunately, that signals that it comes with problems. But before we go into that lets know if the cell phone is of any good.

Interestingly, T249 has a good battery life. Basically, you can use it to talk for 4.5 hours without any problem. After bringing the phone home, I talked on it 2 hours and did not even charge the battery. 19 hours have passed now. There are 4 missed calls, but the battery power is still in great shape. Now  I noticed that the text messaging on this phone is extremely easy. Also the camera of 1.3 mega pixels is relatively okay.

The unfortunate thing about this phone is its call quality. It is not easy to stand it at all. The biggest problem is the static followed by the horrible buzzing noise. Simply put, talking on this phone might make you feel that you found it buried under a thousand year old ruined castle.

Overall, although Samsung T249 is extremely affordable you might want to think twice before getting it. After all, a cell phone becomes useless when it does not provide a good call quality.
