Seeing Similarities

Individual, the conglomerate entity, has differences rather than similarities with each other. But every individual is confined to the helplessness of generalized perception. In other words, it is a human deficiency that human beings can’t afford unwanted energy expenditure as part of their increasing utility demands that lead them to generalize things to a certain extent on the basis of some perceivable common threads running through them. These threads can be observed as the major factors identified as similar in the things around. This ‘ weakness ‘  of identifying similarities can be a boon to the human civilization.

In the realm of social activities, to identify and acknowledge similarities are a significant practice for saving the world from a future Armageddon. Another World War would be nothing else, but an Armageddon. A war is fought for gaining superiority and asserting it over some. It is an essential human nature to erase or conquer something that doesn’t belong to its ‘ type ‘. Every war can be perceived as an obvious result of such attempts to erase or subordinate those groups that do not belong to the majority or the powerful ones.

Post-modernism as a theory in practice has bestowed the world with a perception that is highly disintegrated and diverse. The concept of similarity or common identity is being portrayed in a pejorative sense. But this reference does not mean the process to acknowledge everything under a single roof. Generalization indeed has its curses. It is the gravest threat for the existence of the individual identity. But generalizing everything as different, suggests another well- meaning act. It is this assertion that leads to the consequences stated earlier.

It is this propaganda of differences that supporters of terrorism and the Neo-communism [the new ideologically mutated forms of Communist and Marxist practices emerging throughout the world, as an instrument in the hands of global King Pins to destabilize the world, and to exploit the situation for their own profit making] are exercising.

To acknowledge and to assert differences are different endeavors. Post-modernism asserts the differences along with acknowledging them. This is the evil the deadliest of the kind that is going to lead the world into the greatest doom it has ever faced. As mentioned earlier the annihilation of the different type from the environment of the powerful is a natural human behavior. This annihilation might be objective, cultural, or through other effective methods. In order to prevent this practice of annihilation and conquest, the similarities among the human subjects should be identified and stressed.
