Sex in Our Schools

Teenagers and preteens having sex at a young age.

This has to be one of the most uncontrollable thing that children are doing in our schools. And its getting worse every day that its not stopped. Our schools are not the safest thing for our children. There are talks about sex, and other things such as underage drinking and other things that should not be tolerated in the schools.

I graduated in 2002 from snowflake high school. I can say one thing that school life has a lot of things that go on and this is not just one school its all of them. Students are taught that drugs are illegal and that underage drinking is not permitted and that its against the law to drink everyone must be 21 to drink. And that each student must go to school unless there is an illness or something else happens in the students life. But there is to be not ditching.

Well in the early 90’s in Junior high I believe we had sex ed class. One would of thought that taught about the right and the wrong what not to do and everything. That having sex can lead to having a baby and so on and so on. Well it was like everyone was making fun of that class no one wanted to listen to it. They thought it was funny. Sortly after that class there was students skipping school and doing things that they wanted to do. they did not care. They would go out for lunch and talk about having sex with this person and doing this and that. Its ok we can do this. Oh well we wont get hurt. Basiclly like it would never happen to them. Going to two different Junior highs. And each of them was the same.

Going threw the halls as a student in junior high is not easy. There is a lot of pressure on girls to be something. It like if you are not this perfect looking person then no one likes you. And all the stress can lead to something totally out of control. The heart ache of having to get the grades to pass, and having people making fun of a person because they don’t like that person or that person might smell, or that person has a bugger hanging out of there nose. Or this person’s hair is messed up, or this person pants are made in the early 40’s what are they wearing that now it’s the 90’s. Don’t wear white during this time. Oh you are friends with whom? Don’t be friends with this person because this person does this and is this. Or better yet I will be your friend, and come to find out that they are not your friend. And all the time they are talking behind your back. Now how hard is that to deal with. Then to get home and things are up and down and not normal or right and everything is in choose. And so what is there to do. how does a child turn around and blow off steam. And get ride of there problems if no one is there to listen to there problems. The consolers will not listen to the student who needs help. They don’t sit down and talk to them like they are to do. They just say oh everything’s ok just continue to go to class and everything will be ok. While all that still goes on and grades are dropping because no one is willing to except that there needs to be a change in the way that the school systems are run.

You’ve got some good points, although you really need to proof-read it, because it has many grammatical errors. I don’t seem to remember HPV being a disease.

The subject of your article needs to be addressed. Our children are our greatest treasures and our hope for tomorrow. Parents need to wake up to the fact that childen need a strong hand to guide them into adulthood. Schools should also be made accountable. That will only happen when parents demand it.
