Shuttle Safety
It seems as if no NASA space shuttle mission can ever run smoothly.
There always seems to be a minor flaw or technical difficulty that hampers a NASA mission into space. With all of the money that American taxayers have fed into this country’s space program, it would stand to reason that there would be no cause for delay in space shuttle launches.
This time around, the delay has been caused by a hydrogen leak. While repairs are being made to Endeavour’s leaky gas line, another NASA space mission waits in the wings. A moon space craft mission is set for Wednesday. Will it be able to lift off on schedule ? Or, will it also be delayed by technical problems hours before lifting off.? Will the weather be yet another obstacle to overcome or will it cooperate with the launch?
Which shuttle mission is more important to NASA? Will they hurry with Endeavour’s needed repairs or will they bump it aside for the moon mission instead? What precautionary measures are being taken for the safety of the shuttle crews?
We wish NASA the best of luck. America’s space program is important. Every detail should be taken into consideration. The countdown continues with high hopes for the future. Let’s make it a safe journey for all!
