In Niger near eight hundred seventy thousand people have been born or sold into slavery. Slavery can also be found in almost any other country. They are private, however, but it is still there even though in most countries it is illegal. Slavery is most often form in the form of trafficking. The conditions are very rough still. You can still be born into slavery. Slavery also affects all kinds of people regardless of gender and race. Some people are forced to be slaves to settle debt problems. Some children in these countries are also sold into slavery in order to settle their parents’ debt. They are still treated very poorly, much like they were near the civil war.
