Smaller Airline Seats?

Some airlines have been thinking about getting smaller seats, and cramming more passengers onto the plane – due to budget cuts. The SkyRider seat is shaped like a saddle, and has around 20 inches between seats. Even though, most airlines have around 30 inches. The SkyRider has not yet been approved yet been approved by the Federal Aviation Administration. It was originally designed for shorter flights.

Personally, I would not like this change. People like their space and do not want to be SO close to each other. These changes would only be for Business class, and economy class. “I just don’t see major airline companies going for this.” Jami Counter said, last Tuesday at the Aircraft Interiors Expo Americas in Long beach, California.
