I recently read that a football person is being payed £250,000 a week. Now, is it just me or is it silly to pay someone who has a talent for kicking a ball enough money to buy a small country. Its no secret that most proffesional ball kickers or hitters get paid alot, and its been happening for some time. You have probably seen many people griping on about it such as i am now, but it does annoy me and most likely you aswell, unless you are a ball genius. If so why aren’t you planning your next holiday to barbados or the moon. Anyway how can this ridiculous amount of money be justified? There are people saving lives that get paid what these people would spend on a piece of clothing for whatever fashionable pet they have at the time. Children are practically dissolving in africa while a sport man is considering whether to go on a safari, or just buy a herd of elephants. Yes, some show their face at there local charity shop or visit a blind orphan in hospital, but they walk out the door and are carried into their ferrari by the protection force they have rented. Its just not right no matter which way you look at it. Some say lifes not fair, and it isnt, but there is no need to make things worse by paying someone, an average persons lifetime earnings in one year. These people are proffesionals and simply do a job, but so does a doctor and you dont see him laughing about crashing his latest supercar because he can pay for a new one with the change from his new t-shirt. Many people have wrote about this problem before and many people will after me but its something i wanted to get of my chest. I asked a teenage girl what was her career plan after leaving school, she replied “WAG”. Enough said.
