Starving America

OK in this post I would like to touch on a subject that many of you may know is happening around you. However is not getting the attention it truly deserves in the news.

It has come to my desk several times that many people out there in America are quite literally starving.

They are starving fanatically mentally and physically.

However many of these starving people are not noticed or if they are they are over looked by the system.

First let us truly look around at this idea as to why we are not hearing about it and doing something about it!

Many of you are that are starving or know some one that is.

Are not noticed for a few reasons

The biggest reason is that people in America have some hidden code that they keep hidden as pride.

A pride that says I will not let others know I need help!

That pride is in it self geared in our thoughts as to say if we choose to acknowledge we are in trouble and can not provide for our selves and family.

Others will some how be looking down on us or think wrongly of us as to our ability to provide essential living requirements.

We are afraid others will take even more of what little we have in payment for their time or services.

Many starving Americans have children and see that an intervention means perhaps the way the system works they will loose those children.

The memories of the great depression still live in nightmares in Americans minds as to what and how work camps sprung up forcing small kids in to labor to pay off family debts!

In many cases whole families were separated and torn apart!

To day may seam a long way away from those days to many. Yet there are those who are feeling those hard times to day closer than ever.

We are told about government programs to help people in this so called resection. Well at the same time these programs require so much from those that could use them.

That many people choose not to use them or allow any one to know they truly need them.

It is in this capacity the United States government can fiddle with the truth and numbers of poverty claiming that the resection is over or ending getting better!

The government uses the excuse if the number of people who are taking these so called help programs is low then there are not as many who need the help.
