Street Battles in Oakland Hundreds of Activists Arrested Occupy
Oakland / USA (RPO). The California police have arrested in Oakland in San Francisco about 300 supporters of the movement Occupy. The protesters had delivered on Saturday including confrontations with police and broke into the town hall.
There they burned flags, and damaged an art exhibition, Mayor Jean Quan said at a press conference in the evening. She called on the supporters of the bank critical movement, not Oakland abuse as a “playground”.
Dozens of protesters were arrested when they in the evening marched through downtown Oakland and refused to disband their rally, police spokesman Jeff Thomason said how.
Earlier in the afternoon a number of protesters had been taken after street battles with police in custody. Police were using tear gas and stun grenades against some of the activists who pelted them with stones, bottles and other objects. Demonstrators have also demolished part of a barrier, it said.

Occupy-American activists have been burned in the Oakland City Hall before the American flag. The police arrested hundreds of protesters.
