Suge Knight Arrested and Released

Marion Knight, Jr. aka Suge Knight was arrested around 11:00 P.M. Friday night, then taken to the West Hollywood Police Station where he was issued a citation and agreed to appear before being released from custody.  He was apparently cited on September 23rd for driving with a suspended license and running a stop sign.  He has since been released.

Suge Knight is the co-founder/former CEO of Death Row records, which released Dr. Dre’s The Chronic in 1992. Death Row, also ran by Dr. Dre, was also home to many west coast rappers such as 2Pac, Snoop Dogg, Tha Dogg Pound and The D.O.C.
