Suicide is Preventable

Suicide,or the taking of ones own life is preventable. Almost everyone knows someone who has done this or has a relative who has. When pain, be it physical or emotional becomes so severe in life, we forget that life has changes and changes are possible. It is not normal to think about, plan or carry out the task of taking your own life. Each problem has at least four solutions. It may help to write out problems and solutions and discuss them with a trusted friend or professional. Death, is rarely understood to be final. It is an end to all we know and care about. This world will go on without you, but you and the contributions you could have made to help humanity will be lost forever. There are telephone numbers to call when you are feeling blue or sad. Write out each day what is good. Sometimes you have to look for it. It may be a child or mate pushing a loved one in a wheelchair. Think about the people you care for and remember they do care about you and would miss you if you vanished permanently.
The brain where thoughts and emotions originate is still being researched today. Remember, this too shall pass. There is no pain in this life that another has not had and choose to get through it. There are medications and certain foods such as dark chocolate and walnuts that help. Walking and sunshine help also. When people hurt you, pets will lift you up. Learn to love and care about yourself. Do something you enjoy. Forget the past and know that worry is a bad habit. Relationships can change for the better. you may have to do a little research and legwork. Find someone who has experienced the same thing you are having trouble with and how they overcame their troubles. No one can be normal if they cannot control their impulses.
