Superstitions

Am I superstitious?

when I think about superstitions, I don’t see myself fitting the label. I take myself as a matter of fact person who belives in cause and effect. But then sometimes I do something which is not entirely reasonable. For example, when I was in hig school I would always count the number of red light stops before going to a game. If the number was even, I believed that my team would win. Sometimes it turned out to be correct but then sometimes it did not work .

You can say that the habit is superstitious but then I stopped doing that when I realized that it was not working for every game .

After high school I don’t remember having any supersitious habits like this one. I guess it has something to do with your age. When you are young, you are not experienced anough so you look for something to guide. Something that is sure to happen, atleast in you thinking. But then as you grow older, you get experienced and you don’t need help from superstitions .
