It has been said if you don’t have your health, you have nothing. You will have no quality of life and no way to enjoy your money how every much you have .
Imagine if we were not wasting trillions of dollars on treatable diseases all over the world. Not because we let people suffer and die. Rather because we finally decide to cure all human diseases, sicknesses and illnesses. Do you want more money to go to feed the poor? Or perhaps you want more money to chase wine women and song? If you never had to worry about being sick you could do what you want with the cash you would not spending on health care.
Each generation has or should have an appointed task. Ours should be to rid human kind of the scourge of diseases. How should this be accomplished? The first thing is to never support any politician who wants more health care. We don’t need more health care. We need better health. If many or most diseases are cured, a big health care system would be a big waste of money.
Let the idle rich who seem to want to be in the public’s good graces know that you only respect or even envy largess and philanthropy when they are used to cure the 100 most deadly diseases of mankind.
One of the better reasons to cure all that ails mankind is that you benefit personally by never suffering and dying of painful conditions, and your family members benefit in the same way and folks in distant countries you will never meet benefit as well. No sane person wants to be sick.
What else can be done to effect this silver bullet cure? There are a number of ways to attack diseases
1) Fund all the research to find cures that has all but escaped the lab.
2) Fund the cyber cures wherein scientists are amassing data on all existing medicines in order to predict new cures.
3) Fund even more cyber cures wherein scientists are simulating diseases and cures to find new cures
4) Fund world screening. Every substance and creature this world has ever spawned should be tested against every disease we can lay our hands on so that cures can be found. The discovery of a new animal or fungus should equate almost immediately to a new cure
5) Fund meta cures. The cure delivery system has a lot of time consuming hoops to jump through. If scientists can find new ways to do studies and screening in parallel and to cut the government paperwork as well, a cure that might now take 10 years to get from lab to pharmacy might only take only one year. Sure we will let the human trials take as long as they do. Everyone knows that that there is no hurry once you actually get to point of giving pills to people. Care MUST be take there. But everything else should be done at warp speed.
