Tax Dollars Going to Waste
by High school classes have sucked up our tax dollars, while literally teaching nothing.
One of the most tax consuming wastes, is high school classes. We all know high school, and all education is important, because of this, we pay our taxes, etc. I would have no complaints, if I knew this money was going well spent. As it turns out, it isn’t. One of the classes I have heard of that my local high school offers, is consumer education. This course counts as an entire credit, yet the teens aren’t learning anything. Kids sleep in class, no homework is assigned, and they watch movies the entire time. I don’t know about you, but I am not paying for teenagers to get easy credits and watch outdated uninformative movies. It bothers me that here, in the land of oppurtunity, we aren’t teaching our children anything, but instead we are giving them easy credits without any effort from them. American classes need to be evaluted, and beefed up. It bothers me that high schools are ALWAYS complaining due to budget cuts, yet their classes are jokes. Maybe if their classes were educational, more money might be put into it.
