What the American Dream is About (in my point of view) and some other topics about America.

There is no “actual” definition of The American Dream. But there is a definition for “The American Dream” for every person. Each person’s definition is unique to their personality and what they think is America. I think that The American Dream is your dream. You can achieve anything because anything is achievable. I’m not saying that in a short time, what you believe will come true. Everything comes with hard work. But the possibilities are endless. The sky is the limit, as my dad would always say. Though no one can be perfect, their dream can. If you aim for the sky, you’ll at least reach the roof, thus goes another saying. But doing more than just talking of how you can achieve it, you need to put it into action. The American Dream is not just a dream, but when sought for with such passion, sincerity, hard work and belief, it becomes a reality.

People would immigrate to the U.S.A. because it’s the land of opportunity and hope. It gives a significantly promising first impression. There are many suitable job opportunities, but they don’t happen overnight. Once again, the only solution to success is hard work. You need to earn what you want the hard way. All of the time in America, hard work and sincerity will always pay off in the long run.

I would place an American flag with an eagle because it is our emblem of hope, freedom, and justice and fills almost every American with pride for their country. I would also like to include average people to show that these people are just important as the president or any other people in the higher class because they can make the same amount of difference as any other person. Every single person in America is important because everyone in America can make a change. From picking up piece of trash, to raising $1,000,000 for the poor. You just need, as I mentioned earlier, hard work.

My American Dream is that everyone is living in peace and in unity with everyone else. There are no wars, or racial or sexual discrimination. Everyone has the right to do what they want, but there are some obvious certain limitations. There is no currency and everyone is ruled under one branch of government, the people. It’s sort of like my Utopia, but I believe it can come true, even if it takes 50, 100 or a 1000 years.

I really want to become a lawyer, then a judge, then a Supreme Court Judge. It’s going to take a lot of work, but I really believe I can. I want to get a major in law, and a minor in economics and politics. I would really like to start a charity fund for people in poverty or in hardships. But before all of that, I really need to go to a good college, so therefore, do well in school. Its pretty amazing how what you want to do later all winds down to how you do at school.

This dream becomes possible by living in the U.S.A. because they have what I need for success — people, college, jobs. But I think above all I can work hard, have hope, and belief. These are all part of my American Dream. But remember, everyone’s is different.

Here are some things you should take into consideration while achieving the American Dream:

The Definitions of:

1)   TRUTH

My Idea: To be sincere and honest to someone. Not to lie and to be 100% up front.

Dictionary: Sincerity in action, character, and utterance

2)   JUSTICE

My Idea: To be treated with fairness and equality. No partiality because they are different in any way. Every one deserves a fair trial.

Dictionary: the maintenance or administration of what is just especially by the impartial adjustment of conflicting claims or the assignment of merited rewards or punishments

3)   THE AMERICAN WAY:

My Idea: Doing things with justice, truth, and equality no matter what the task is or whom you’re doing it for. The American way is full commitment, determination, hard work, and belief in achieving the goal or dream.

And remember, the American Dream is not given to you. Opportunities to achieve it are.
