The Biggest Trick of The Intolerant and Why We Shouldn’t Tolerate It
Intolerance is a chaotic energy that feeds on itself and breeds even more of its kind in its incestuous orgy of hatred. When intolerance creates such a negative force on the planet should we tolerate the intolerant to be tolerant? Warning contains graphic images that may disturb some people.
There are many intolerant groups and individuals in the world. These groups or individuals either seek to control others that they deem of value and try to destroy those that they feel are obsolete. Their intolerance can range from not liking another’s ethnic or racial origins, sexual orientation, personal spiritual beliefs, to simply being a jerk about the music others listen to. These people seek consciously and unconsciously to homogenize the world either through assimilation, intimidation, or annihilation. This is the role of intolerance and the intolerant.

Make no mistake about it, intolerance is a very real force in the world and it is an energy that we can do without. There is one big problem the arises as the result of intolerant groups and individuals and that is they make everyone else intolerant by becoming something that those who seek tolerance must deal with in a most often intolerant manner. What happens is the intolerants then use this paradox against the those who are actually trying to make a tolerant world for everyone in a very deceptive and manipulative way.

This manipulative deception is made manifest in the form of the intolerant claiming that when others stand up to their intolerance in any form they are being intolerant of their intolerant beliefs or actions. This breeding of further intolerance is why intolerance is such a negative force in the world. The thing is those of us who are tolerant of the beliefs of most of the others living on the planet without sacrificing our own beliefs can not allow that little trick of the intolerant to continue. It will create even more splinters of intolerance. Hatreds are created that create other hatreds and so on.

Very interesting voice you have Mark great write. People have been like this probably since the beginning, they don’t like change and think everyone should have the same opinion and beliefs as them.

I think tolerance is something we too often (mis)interpret as weakness or doubt. And that is just how the truly intolerant like it, for it allows them to take advantage of us.
Very good article, thank you Mark.
