The End of America’s Reign

America will no longer be the world’s most prosperous country in the near future.

Everybody who is at least a little bit in touch with the outside world knows that America is in an economic crisis. But does anyone really know what’s behind it? Educated people know that we have a corrupt housing market, and that banks are willing to give people loans that they can’t afford. They know that’s why a lot of people are in debt. But do they know why our country is close to 15 trillion dollars in debt? You see, there’s no one reason, but many, that have driven our country into the depths of national debt. Some of these reasons are:

1. Our government is terrible at economics compared to other countries.

What I mean by this is; if you look at other countries, they see that the value of our dollar is going down, so they’re getting rid of their American money. Almost every country in the world has a large amount of our money in their economies making the U.S. dollar the world’s reserve currency. No smart country wants our money anymore, so they pay us back with our own money when buying goods. When this happens, we don’t get ourselves any further out of debt; and while this is going on, in an attempt to get out of debt, our government just prints more money since they believe we are the reserve currency and nothing could ever change. Sooner or later, our money will no longer be accepted in every nation due to inflation and devaluation of the dollar, which will thrust us into an even worse financial crisis.

2. We are a warring nation.

Have you noticed that each and every conflict that another country -ally or not- gets into, America has to be involved? If we were at peace for one year, I believe that our economy would boom. Think about it, when was the last time we didn’t get involved in a war? Yeah, most of you guessed it, never. But, there was one period of time where we weren’t involved in any war (maybe conflict, but not war), and that was between the years 1996-2001. If I do recall correctly, our economy was incredible, everybody made money, and everybody who came here had an opportunity to live the “American dream” Since 9/11 however, our attitude has gone downhill, along with the economy. We no longer want immigrants in our country, and as a result of that, less people want to move here, less people want to trade with us, and more people are moving our jobs to other nations where they can be more successful.
