The Example The United States of America Should be Following

My dad was a cook in the United States Navy during WW2 and was proud of what the United States of America stood for. He was also very proud of his heritage; half Dutch and half Black Foot Native American. My dad was a man of great wisdom and loved family with all of his heart. He watched his country as well as his beloved family deteriorate over the later years of his life. In the end he trusted no one, but God and his closest of children.

Sure his life was hard as a child and even harder as a young man growing up. It was the hardships on his family that caused him to go into the military. It was there that he learned communication with people and the ability to cook. He wasn’t alone I’m sure; many men did the same thing.

As a child I never feared walking down the streets during the day or night. Those were peaceful times. Neighbors weren’t afraid to say hello to one another when we chanced to meet either on the street or in a store somewhere. Those were happier times. I remembered my family and our neighbors taking turns making large batches of food and sharing between us all. Those were joyful times. Those were days when people outwardly showed their respect one to another; a respect that also included a family’s privacy within their own home.

I’ve heard many people talk about how much they miss those days. God fearing meant that if you didn’t keep God’s laws you feared God’s wrath; just like a child that stole dad’s or mom’s car keys and took their car on a joy ride feared their parent’s wrath if they got caught. You were taught back then that every choice you made had consequences.

The Dutch have decided they have had enough of immigrants entering their country and dictating to them how they should live and I fully support their decision to put a stop to the chaos in their country; it is something the United States should do.

The Dutch won’t stop immigrants from moving to their country, but like I’ve been saying the United States of America should do; they will require all immigrants to obey their laws as well as their way of life and all immigrants must learn to speak the Dutch language. That is only fair and should be the normal for each respective country. There will be no multiculturalism within their country and so there will be no multicultural court system where one group lives by one set of laws while others are to be judged by a different set of laws.
