The Father’s Love is Priceless

Too many mothers let their hatred for their children’s father take precedence over their love for their child. They believe that if a man cannot afford to pay child support he is not entitled to see his child.

I believe that mothers teach children how to cooperate and give unselfishly to others, whereas fathers instill in them a selfish, competitive energy needed to conquer the world. Matthew Knowles quit his job to support his daughter, Beyonce’s blossoming music career. Tiger Woods credits his father, Earl Woods, for his success as one of the world’s greatest golfers. Richard Williams taught himself how to play tennis by reading a book. He then trained two of the world’s greatest tennis players of our time, Venus and Serena. Joe Jackson is not perfect (but who is?), yet he created a music dynasty with Michael, Janet and several of their siblings.

While the children are spending time with their father this would be a perfect time for mothers to take a nap, soak their feet, go to the movies, take a long bath, get a facial, spend time with old friends, take a class or simply do nothing. The luxury of a mother having some free time to rejuvenate her spirit while the children are spending time with their father is a priceless commodity. There are so many fathers who pay child support who have never changed a diaper or pushed their child on a swing. I am willing to bet that these children would give every cent back in exchange for quality time with their father and know in their hearts that his love is priceless.
