The Impact of Mobile Phones in Your Brain
Continuing concern about the effect of the use of mobile phones on health. Incidentally, a recent study found that mobile phones do have an impact on brain functioning. Keep reading to keep you up to date on this topic.
One of the technological developments whose use has expanded worldwide is the mobile phone. Do you remember what life was like when there were these personal cell phones can now carry with us everywhere? It’s hard to imagine not having them available today.
From the moment these devices appeared a question arose today clearly remains unresolved: what impact they have on the brain electromagnetic waves using these devices? Are they harmful? Can cause cancer? In short, the question that still hangs in the air is: is it safe to talk on the phone?
To establish a wireless communications, mobile phones use what is known as electromagnetic waves, radiation that by the same name carry energy through space.
There are different types of electromagnetic waves like light, radio waves, microwaves (which are the devices that use this name to heat food) and ultraviolet rays. Some of these waves, even used for study or medical treatment in a controlled and safe, such as X rays and gamma rays and alpha particles in radiotherapy.
In this sense, it is known that electromagnetic waves can induce changes on the body. What is unknown in the case of mobile phones is if they do or not, and if so, what effect they have on the body and if these changes are harmful. So many people believe that the use of these devices can increase the risk of brain cancer.
The answer to this concern is being investigated almost since the very beginning of mobile telephony and, unfortunately, still does not have an accurate decision to leave the users alone.
Recently, a new study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, (the journal of the American Medical Association) found that a one-hour talk on cell phones stimulate brain areas closest to the phone’s antenna, but still not known whether these effects constitute a health risk over time.
This discovery represents a new contribution to this very controversial. A few years ago, for example, some U.S. researchers warned on the need to prevent, even if not yet known with certainty the effects of these devices on health, citing studies by scientists from Europe and other parts of the world that it suggested a direct relationship between mobile phone use and cancer development.
For now, questions remain and there is much to be done. Some experts suggest including warning signs on these machines (similar to those used on cigarette packets.)
Individually, the best bet may be to limit the use of mobile as possible, especially in children and adolescents, where it is considered that the impact may be higher. Other preventive measures you could take are:
• Always look for a place where coverage is high, to prevent your phone emits a maximum power
• Move the equipment away from the body while the call is connected, since it is the time it issues more power
• Use headphones or handsfree to avoid holding the phone to the head
• Avoid, if possible, carry on and close to the body (especially near the kidneys, heart and genitals)
• Send text messages and talk less
• Speak for short periods of time (for example, if you speak two hours per day is preferable to do so in several calls a few minutes each and not two of one hour each)
• Do not talk in places surrounded by metal, such as cars or public transport, and that electromagnetic waves bounce off the walls and are hard to get out. If you still have to talk, remember to always open the windows.
Despite these doubts, it is estimated that there are about 5, 000 million mobile phones in use worldwide. Meanwhile, research continues in search of a safe response that allows us to speak with confidence, anytime, anywhere.

their goal is to damage everybody’s brain . They achieve this fact with many of their tools. one is this f… tecnology.. Once i ‘ve read a research that mobile phones could use the FM frequency (like radios do)… we would have the same results with not big damage on our brains.
But it seems that somebody else is desiding except us….
