The “N Word” vs. The “Q Word”
by Which word is worst in your opinion?
Now days it seems like another seen from the 60’s where everyone is trying to get their rights. You see people on tv trying to get their rights for being gay and same sex marriage just like African Americans and other minorities at the time tried to get their right to vote and equal opportunities.
Living in the south I here both of these terms used a lot the word “nigger” and the word “queer” both are not appropriate words to be used. I have friends who are both. Some friends who are black and I have one friend who is gay. I think Both of these words are offensive to these people even though I am straight and white I don’t use either of these remarks towards them.
Which one of these words do you think is worst and why? Leave me some comments.

Really? Did not know that “queer” was a bad word? We use it here, in Missouri, as just another word of saying “weird” and I mean sometimes we use it in class and no one scolds us ( though we don’t say it often ). Interesting article though, good to know what’s up down south.

thanks for the comment. I guess it does depend on how it is used and if it is directed at someone or just being used as something is odd.
