The New Spanish-american War

     America is ours if we consider ourselves to be Americans.  I no way do I regret someone coming to America from another country for the purpose of becoming an American.  I do however resent having to pay the cost of anyone who comes to American illegally.  When someone comes to our country and they do not have a sponsor…a regular residence…a job with a pay check that is having taxes taken out…they can not speak our language and they refuse to live by the same rules we Americans live by, it cost me an American tax payer money.  I am being told that Social Security funds, which I have paid into since 1957, are running low, yet many of those in Washington insist that I support those who come into America illegally.  No. I am expected to be politically correct so as not to offend those who raise their flag above my American flag.  These same people who raise their flag above the American flag even sometime burn the American flag in public.  Excuse me Mr. Obama, but we Americans do not need for you to apologize for us.  We need for you and others in Washingto to be as offended as we who are legally in this country and pay your rediculous salaries and for the overspending you are guilty of.

     If you get caught in China, our biggest trade partner, illegally you simply disappear from sight.  In Afghanastan where we are loosing Americans in a war if you are in their country illegally the just shoot you.  Yet those coming into America who are illegally here are treated better than those of us who pay the price of living in America.  In Greenville, South Carolina alone one company, Columbia Farms Chicken Processing Plant, employed over 300 illegal people living here who all had drivers license and a social security card.  They were all drawing a welfare check, receiving food stamps and getting subsidized rent.  They get government loans to buy a house. They receive free education, health care and lord only knows what else at the cost of legal American citizens. 

     There are sections of Greenville, South Carolina where the signs are all in Spanish and those who wait on you either can not speak English at all or their English is so bad it is imposible to communicate with them.  Guess what? They work for the utilities and other government offices that I have no choice but to deal with. It is not like I can just drive to another part of town and find someone who speaks the same laguage I do.  Oh and what does it cost to have every government document printed in Spanish simply because they refuse to learn the laguage of our country?  It is not like they have come to America to become Americans.  They have come to America to claim our country for themselves and change everything to Spanish, including the flag that so many have died for.  And I should be careful not to offend?  They wave their flag at me through the protest shown on the news and demand more respect.  Have I missed something people who are truly American?
