The Plant That Could Save the World
Why marijuana should be legalized throughout the world.
As we all know there is a constant battle between government and certain groups of people trying to get hemp legalized. This has been a topic that’s been done over and over again with many people’s opinions and many valid points but I want to share just some of my facts and the good uses that we can benefit from if hemp where legal and used throughout the world. Before I go on I just want to state I don’t condone the personal use of marijuana for fun or for trafficking for profit, I just believe there is a lot of good that we can benefit from with this plant.
For starters, we all know about global warming and air pollution and how badly we really need to keep our trees in order to survive but trees are going faster than ever just to keep up with our paper needs where as if we used hemp it’s pretty much a renewable resource. There is documentation from the U.S Department of Agriculture stating from test they have done that 1 acre of hemp can produce 4 times more than any 1 acre of trees ever could. Also think of this, it takes a tree 20-60 years to grow to full maturity where hemp can grow 10-20 feet in 4 months under right conditions. On top of all that building materials made from hemp are stronger then wood and cheaper to manufacture.
Also hemp would be a great source for fuel. Hemp produces more biomass than any plant that can be grown in the U.S. This biomass can be converted to fuel in the form of clean-burning alcohol, or no-sulphur man-made coal. Hemp has more potential as a clean and renewable energy source than any crop on earth! It is estimated that if hemp was widely grown in the U.S. for fuel/energy, it could supply 100% of all U.S. energy needs.
It’s clear and the facts are all out there and these are only a few I could think of but to me in my personal opinion, I think the governments should be looking into changing some laws soon before it’s too late to do anything. The key to save man is right in the open and it’s just has to be used!

To use it for paper and fuel would be great I have already proposed the use of cotton(which is already used in U.S. Currency and easier and quicker to grow) for paper rather than trees, I don’t know enough about hemp to write an article but I found this interesting
anybody who’d smoke the stuff must be out of their minds though

IF this article was ever published is there a way i could print out the original article itself?
I’m trying to use this article as a secondary source for a project.
Help me out if you can? =)

I agree with Jupiter King.
Maybe if they could bioengineer some mary jane that only had the effect of smoking paper when smoked. Then they would simply ban the non-bioengineered stuff and we could all have mary jane paper.

Hello
I have set up a petition on the Number 10 Epetition website. It is a challenge to all polititians : PROVE ME WRONG. If you agree with the two statements below please use the link provided to sign up. If you dont believe it please just put ‘the emperor wears no clothes’ into google read the evidence and make an informed decision.
1. The hemp legislation enforced in the world today, and since the 1930’s, has caused more death, destruction and environmental damage than any decision by any politition or humanbeing in history.
2. Putting hemp BACK in its rightful position as humanities number one crop, raw material, fuel, food, and medicine ( as it had been since pre-histiry and in parts since the dawn of mankind), has the very real and possible potential of not just slowing down global warming, but actually REVERSING IT!!!
But how? You ask. Well for a start it is one of the worlds fastest growing plants and produces more fibre, seed/oil, cellulose than any other crop and its a green manure, so it actually puts goodness back into the soil, and needs no fertiliser or pesticide. In 1941 Henry Ford had IN PRODUCTION the worlds first ‘petrol engined’ car; its bodywork, dashboard, seat covers, plastic fittings etc, wre made from hemp and it ran on methanol from hemp. It is the only single plant food source that a humanbeing can live on -indefinitely- and contains all the essential omega’s in the perfect ratio for us!
Too good to be true? Or too good for the oil industry, pharmaceuticals and agro-chemicals, not to want to misinform about, conceal and scapegoat.
Politicians and others in power refuse to address this issue with anything even approaching, honest, informed, rational and balanced intentions and debate. Due to this, it is my intention to continue feeding the birds, best quality cannabis sativa – hemp seed – wherever I go, and to continue to give bags of the seeds to anyone who wants them, to do with them as they will.
Yours Mark A. Chapman
