The President Hosts India

by userpeg in Issues, November 26, 2009

The White House is setting up for a big celebration tonight as the President and Mrs. Obama welcome the Prime Minister of India. Mr. Obama was quite proud this morning as he welcomed the Prime Minister to our country. He showed great care in escorting the elderly gentleman out of the news conference.

To many this may have seemed like a gracious official attempting to communicate world peace.  However, while the President was promoting unity with India and being extremely gracious to this senior citizen, millions of elderly in the United States are bracing for cuts in Medicare and increased premiums.  Millions of senior citizens are being reminded by this Administration that their lives are of little value and therefore spending much on their health care is just not good for our economy.  President Obama and his Congress have given Pakistan 65 billion dollars to grow their economy.  Many jobs in the U.S. are now outsourced to India and Pakistan, allowing their young people lucrative employment.  A large number of doctors practicing medicine in the United States are from these countries and financially support them.  To say that this is hypocrisy is ludicrous.  President Obama, his Administration, and his Congress have shown exactly how little they care about the people of the United States as they continue on their relentless march to get the Obama health care plan passed whether it is what the people need, or want.  Frankly, I have lost my appetite tonight viewing the dog and pony show going on in Washington knowing full well how our people are hurting.  I, for one, cannot wait for election 2010 and especially election 2012.  Just as it took years to recover from Jimmy Carter’s disastrous terms, we will be paying the price for Obama, Reid, Pelosi et al for years to come while they will retire as millionaires.  Are we a socialist country?  We are fast becoming one.
