The Price of Gas as a National Concern
The price of gas has become a national concern.
A national issue that has everybody concerned is the price of gas. Will it continue to go up until an alternative source is found, or will the current inflation return itself to the way it used to be? As far as I’m concerned, it isn’t going to stop increasing. The rising gas cost has made the expense of all things escalate. Gas is needed for vehicles to transport products from the factory to the outlets. This in turn leads to elevated shelf prices so that the money lost from fuel equalizes to maintain profit. Not only do the high gas prices hurt the economy, but it is taking money straight out of paychecks.
Driving to work every morning could be costing a worker a large percent of their income. This has made many people change their ways of transportation on a daily basis. Because many cannot afford to drive to work anymore, walking or taking the bus have become common alternatives. Taking the bus leads to a very inflexible lifestyle. In situations where the weather isn’t cooperating, waiting for the bus can be dreadful. Plus, missing the bus leads to being late and risking your occupation. If an issue is changing the way virtually everyones lives their lives, it has to be resolved quickly and effeciently. The United States must make this disaster come to an end so that we all can return to our original, stress-free lifestyles.
