The Scantity of Life

Man’s inhumanity toward man and nature is so profound today.

Most of us come into this world thru an act of love thru God. ” We are endowed by our creator with certain inalienable rights, Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.” This has to apply to every human being no matter where they are or where they came from. Through Greed, Lust, manipulation, arrogance, ignorance, and a selfish desire some individuals try and some succeed in rendering hideous and unspeakable crimes against humanity. Advances in technology and science have made it possible to inflict greater devastation against man and nature. This has continued through-out history. It wasn’t until Nobel realized what he invented could be used not for the betterment of mankind but for the destruction of humanity that he used his resources to establish and promote the Nobel Peace Prize to be awarded to those individuals who demonstrated in achievements that man will have a better quality of life.
In this the 21st century with all the technology and tools available to ease the hardships that are still plaguing peoples all over the world millions continue to languish is despair, retching poverty, disease, and famine. They all are victims of apathetic governments that have the resources but choose to ignore and not get involved for their own selfish reasons. That is just as criminal as any one individual who inflicts harm on another. The governments whose populations are brutally victimized is as evident today as it was hundreds of years ago. The only thing that changes are the names of the perpatrators. Only through collective intervention, education, and participation will the world become more stable and secure.
Today there are dozens of individuals who continue to inflict genocide, promote ethnic cleansing, and allow people to suffer needlessly while they reap greater power and wealth for there own self gratification. One of the most notorious in recent years is in Dufar where one person has garnished complete control over the population and has allowed the citizens to suffer and be tormented by hideous crimes against them. The brutality of these individuals is just as horrendous as the atrocities of Ivan The Terrible, Atila The Hun, Hitler, Stalin, and Genghis Kahn just to name a few of the most infamous figures in history.
What has happened today in the Arab world is almost the same that happened in Dufar whose leaders who have been in power for far too long continued to ignore the plight of the masses. A  world turned upside down with turmoil, violence and terror all ensued because entrenched leaders continue to deny their population the opportunities to prosper. Any leader who ingores the real concerns of their citizens while garnishing more wealth for themselves only produces tyranny, oppression, and anguish upon an already impoverish society. In all of history this same scenerio has been played out all to often. When will we ever learn the lessons that history is supposed to teach us? It appears that even in the 21st century man is still prone to selfish desires that outweigh good intentions when they are given rmore opportunities to prosper. It seems that any individual who’s been in control for years will continue to display more continued authority and ultimitly impose a tyranical rule over their population while garnishing more wealth for themselves. We must remember that long term prosperity and economic growth of all countries is directly proportional to each nations security, the populations overall health, and stability. Until leaders of each country realize that these are the most important aspects for global security, nations economic growth and every nations prosperity the global community will continue to suffer needlessly.
We can no longer continue to ignore or not get involved to what is happening in the world today. If we fail to act and find a way to ease the undo suffering of peoples all over the world Armageddon will be right at our doorstep. The United States has to take the initiative in leading the way to ease those peoples who are being victimized. But, first America must regain our economic strength if we are to succeed. This is why the United States must stop the petty infighting and resolve and restore this country so that we can secure not only our long term economic growth, national security, and bring about lasting prosperity to our citizens but to ensure that all countries will receive the same benefits through our intervention. It is imperative that our foreign policy must include the rest of the major Industrialized nations to resolve in working together with equal share of responsibilities, resources, and funding to expedite a reversal of deterioration in every country who is so destitute today.
