The State of Our Nation : When Will The Deception End?

    Alexander Hamilton wrote in the Federal Papers 26 thruogh 28 that the states had the power to resist the tyrannical intervention of the Federal government when it violated the premises of our great Constitution. Hamilton argued along with Thomas Jefferson and many other framers of the constitution during the Continental Congress of the original thirteen colonies that the powers of the federal government were to be limited with states making the more localized and relevant laws for themselves without the undue influence of big government. Why, because they had already suffered for decades under the King of England’s oppression through taxation without representation and over regulation which had stifled the colonies and discouraged flourishing free enterprise that met the needs of the citizens of that era. The framers of our Constitution were determined to keep big government from ever suppressing the free republic again.

    It is now the year of 2009 and how would our forefathers look upon the present day existence of gigantic federal government spending and infrastructure and the weight that it exerts upon the people of this country whom were guaranteed ownership and control of that very entity that has subjugated them. Propaganda and Democratic Party tactics for decades have dictated that in order to attract votes dependency on big government influence must be fostered. Robert Welch of the John Birch Society made a speech in 1958 that is shockingly prophetic as we look at what our country has degenerated into. He stated that those within who would want to subvert our country and create a socialistic state would have to generate certain conditions. Those premises would be massive federal government fiscal irresponsibility in the form of deficit spending under the guise of social programs, to promote dependency upon those programs, to instigate a large military build up that would have the US intervening all over the world in imperialistic ventures, to dissolve the importance of state lines so that federal authority would appear to usurp the local jurisdiction of the states themselves who already had their courts, to strongly promote a strong centralized federal government that would appear to have the final say in matters of Supreme Court rulings and nationally legislated policies, and to allow an international presence capable of subverting US interests such as the United Nations to add further outside influence. Robert Welch said that these insiders with their self serving agenda, would also promote a greater tax burden upon the American public while inundating the federal budget with defense contractor relationships that would virtually privatize our military. Take a look at the United States of America of today. Is this not the abhorrent vision of Robert Welch’s warning more than fifty years ago?

    If anyone had purposely set out to subvert our nation to the level of socialism then certainly  they couldn’t have done a better job of it. We must look at the factors that are in place today. The Obama administration has promoted a bailout for beleaguered lenders such as AIG with no specified conditions and as a result billions have disappeared into a black hole of debt while the corporate giant conducted costly parties in celebration of the federally awarded bailout funds all at the expense of the US tax payer. Bank America was intimidated into, according to testimony of the Bank America CEO, signing the agreement to purchase the insolvent financial empire of Merrel Lynch. Even though the debt initially estimated by Federal Reserve officials was eventually greatly exceeded what Bank America had been led to believe from it’s original offer by billions, the sale was forced through. Investors all over the world including US bond holders were still victimized. 

    The intervention in the matter of US automakers as well provokes anger and amazement when considering the direct  tampering in the affairs of General Motors reorganization as they put together a bankruptcy plan while long time family operated Chrysler dealerships with multimillion dollar inventories that were paid for were surreptitiously denied inclusion as approved sellers for the restructured company! Many pointed out that this was the result of the Obama administration taking revenge on those dealers who had supported John McCain for president. As the car execs flew to Washington for hearings on their debt restructuring plans in front of senate panels, they were rebuffed for such  luxuries as using personal jets. Why wasn’t Nancy Pelosi prevented from committing grave expenditure extravagance when she authorized a 200 hundred passenger jet for her personal use for her Washington DC to San Francisco route due to the fact that the existing plane could not fly non-stop? An even more costly Democratic flight purchase for more unnecessary aircraft were finally made public and rejected once they were exposed. This begs the question of the integrity of a majority Democratic rule in Congress and the Senate as more double standards both known and unknown begin to emerge. 

    As town hall meetings flare with hostility at the realizations that the Democratic deception and vagueness about health care issues, irresponsible federal spending that future tax payers will be saddled with, and the concerns about the fate of the senior citizen population as a whole we must ask ourselves if the American political process has mutated into a perverse organism of deceit that has for decades been misleading and subjecting the  public into a socialistic regime mirroring the very Soviet threat that we were alerted to decades ago. My God my fellow Americans is it not high time that we awake from the drugged assurances of our forked tongued leaders who have brought this plague upon us? We need to revert back to the constitutional way of government not the facade that exists before us today.

    However, this cannot curtail President Obama from blaming the US media for televising town hall opposition to his health care bill, or pointing a finger at GOP officials as having stymied his plans with conspiratory solidarity while the truth is that Democrats have an unassailable majority in both houses and the US media practically elected Obama during the presidential campaign. Does somebody smell a rat? Are we going to wake up and finally identify the source of the lies that would reduce us to a third world power that would harbor illegal immigrants, provide them with free health care benefits while favoring minorities and taxing the middle class into nonexistence because of frivolous federal spending? My friends, we are on the verge of an Apocalypse? Alexander Hamilton warned long ago that the only way for the new republic to survive was to have a revolution from time to time in order to purge the corruption and the parasites who would compromise the American government. Tell me that we have not yet reached that stage as our nation teeters at the brink of disaster thanks to criminal financial collusion between the banks, Wall Street, and our government officials! “Eternal vigilance.” was the motto of our founding fathers as they pondered the fate of the new republic. For only a well informed public who paid attention to the political process of those entrusted to conduct government business could keep massive scale corruption from compromising our political process and undermining America. How little the wisdom of the past resembles the present.
