The Stone Bag

New products hitting the pavement.

I heard of calcium carbonate rock used to make the lime that went into outhouses. I knew that it is a chief component of marble steps an monuments but know it is a prime ingredient in a certain bag. That probably is not the kind of bag you would want to throw out right away because of its sturdiness, but it is more environmentally friendly. Those words environmentally friendly..hmmm, I wonder whether the manufacturer is or the distributor is really all hat concerned. Most often introducing a new line of products would infer being conscious of a new mind frame but does that mean this North Amercian distributor is all that keen in making products that are less damaging to the environment.

Anyway the point was here is a company which can use a writer’s expertise in being able to put a positive spin on the materials produced and how how the product has a value beyond what is expected. Now I don’ know the method those bags use but since paper bags come from depleted wood supplies wouldn’t that mean that the bag is more environmentally friendly. Apparently so, since rocks do not need to be chopped down and there is an inexhaustible supply of this quite resource. It would also allow us to make less demands on those forests so that they can be replanted properly.

The rock those needs to be processed in order to make “rock paper” and that probably means being crushedand put into a solution so that it can produce a look alike product similar to the Kraft paper bag. Paper bags won’t go out of existence since recycling of paper products has gone quite efficient today. One site reported using paper that is 95% recycled product. But competition is healthy and maybe the manufacturer can offer a perk when trying to get his rock made bags sold on the market.
