The Unthinking Majority
Title pretty much sums up the basis of the writing and this was written focusing on North America.
Note: when I said "the divine plan" I was not referring to god and in no way did I intend it to have any religious sense. I used the word as a reference instead to Illuminati.
Why is it that though-out history man has always needed a leader. Whether it be for a group, a protest, a country or a rebellion, we’ve always needed a leader. Someone to hold in a higher regard, someone to deem superior.
However we all know there is power in the masses, and that being so why is it that the masses refuse to work conjunctively except for when called upon? Martin Luther King Junior, Susan Anthony, Harvey Milk, Gandhi. These leaders were all at one time just a part of the masses, no different then you and I. Except for the simple fact that they refused to wait for someone to assume the role of leader and set forth to set things straight, and instead took the matter into their own hands.
It’s evident from the success of their movement and the people they inspire(ed) that there goal was one that many others yearned for. Which once more raises the question of why the masses refuse to act without a leader. Is it arrogance or simply ignorance that compels us to demand a leader before we set forth trying to right what we knew, all along, was wrong.
Better yet is it simply fear itself that keeps us from “acting out”. After all from the moment you are conceived fear plays a major part in the development of your life, without even taking into account the governmental factor. From early childhood fear is used to help implement what is bad and what is good, what is right, from what is wrong. It’s evident in presentations in public schools that fear is one of the main emotions evoked to stimulate the audience.
So the idea of fear being a major factor in the situation isn’t a ridiculous one. So in that case most would assume that the answer would simply be that these leaders were fearless, which would be completely ass-backwards. Many movement leaders like MLK Jr. and Harvey Milk were scared shit-less not only for their lives but for the lives of their loved ones as well as the lives of their followers and the movement itself. These leaders were no where near fearless. Therefore it is not a matter of courage or realization that separates these leaders from the masses.
I myself an not quite sure what it is that inhibits us from lashing out at our government. However I do know that talk of change and revolution is becoming ever more apparent in mainstream media be it the divine plan or not. So I am christening this day forth to awareness and realization, to knowledge and understanding or at the very least. To fucking shit up.
