There Will be No Peace

Peace is an absolute stillness without any turbulent.  The motivational speakers will tell you that peace is not the absence of conflict but the ability to cope with conflicts.  That’s good, but they ought to cal it something else because peace has no connection with conflicts and only the monks could possibly get their attention and mindset away from conflicts that surrounds them.  I tell you the truth, as human as we are, conflicts are not just registered in our brains but also in our subconscious mind, so that even when you want them out of the sphere of you reasoning, they just won’t leave.  Most times even when you are not conscious of what’s going on, you see them (dreams!).

Trying to get your mindset away from conflict is conflict on its own and it is a near impossibility battling with your mind to avoid happenings.  Its just like seeing a poisonous serpent near you and then in  that state of been struck with horror and terror, you want to deceive us that you don’t consider it, this is not Hollywood!  Don’t forget that people still believe the unbelievable and are controlled by such thoughts.

Another school of thought subscribe to the philosophy which stipulates that what you believe rules you.  Fine, but let me make it clear to you that whether you believe or not that the sun is shining doesn’t mean it is not shining, it is just your philosophy which actually doesn’t rule our world but yours.

Take a look at Iraq, Somalia, Afghanistan, Pakistan, consider the FLU, SARS, HIV & AIDS and envisage the militants in Niger-Delta of Nigeria, Pirates in Somalia, Militants in Afghan-Pakistani border, the suicide bombers, the Islamic-freedom fighters and then tell me if you see peace in the horizon!

There’ll never be peace on earth  at least for this generation because all the routes to it have been destroyed and everything is geared towards destruction and damnation and just as the Holy books put it, “…  then the end will come!”

Peace actually belongs to the ages!
